WUYING Terminal:Configure a scheduled stop policy for a cloud computer

Last Updated:Oct 17, 2023

After a cloud computer is disconnected, the cloud computer remains in the Running state. If the cloud computer is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis, you are still charged, which causes a waste of resources. To prevent resource waste, you can configure a scheduled stop policy to stop a cloud computer that is disconnected. This topic describes how to configure a scheduled stop policy for a cloud computer that is disconnected.

Prerequisites

  • The version of an Alibaba Cloud Workspace client is updated to V6.2.0 or later.

  • You are logged on to the client.

  • The Scheduled Task upon Disconnection feature is enabled by your administrator, and the Principle of Effective Task parameter is set to Policy Configured by User in the WUYING Workspace console.

    Note

If you cannot select the options for the Scheduled Task Policy parameter, contact your IT administrator to grant you the permissions to configure the policy.
