You can view cloud application statistics collected from various dimensions by using the monitoring metrics module. The statistics include real-time data, statistics aggregated by date, and statistics aggregated by user.
View monitoring data
Log on to the App Streaming console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring Metrics and select Real-time, By Date, or By User Behavior.
(Optional): In the upper part of the page that appears, select the region, delivery group, or time period to filter the data that you want to view. If you do not select a region, delivery group, or time period, the statistics of all resources are displayed.
NoteFor information about the metrics, see Metrics.
Metrics
The following table describes the metrics for cloud application usage and user behaviors.
Page | Category | Metric | Description |
Real-time | Sessions | Connected Subscription Sessions | The number of connected sessions on the subscription cloud application resources. |
Connected Pay-as-you-go Sessions | The number of connected sessions on the pay-as-you-go cloud application resources.
To-Be-Connected Sessions | The number of available sessions on the cloud application resources. This metric indicates the difference between the maximum number of allowed sessions and the number of connected sessions on all cloud application resources.
Maximum Number of Available Sessions | The total number of sessions that are allowed on all cloud application resources. The number of sessions that are allowed on each cloud application resource is the product of the number of resources in the delivery group and the number of concurrent sessions on each resource.
Resources | Occupied Resources | The number of resources on which connected sessions exist. The number of occupied subscription resources and the number of occupied pay-as-you-go resources are separately displayed.
Available Resources | The number of resources on which no connected sessions exist. This metric indicates the difference between the total number of available resources and the number of occupied resources. The number of available subscription resources and the number of available pay-as-you-go resources are separately displayed.
Total Available Resources | The total number of cloud application resources in the delivery group. The total number of subscription cloud application resources in the delivery group and the total number of pay-as-you-go cloud application resources in the group are separately displayed.
Cloud applications | Current Users in Sessions by App | The number of users who are accessing each cloud application.
Current Users in Sessions | The total number of users who are accessing cloud applications.
By Date | Sessions | Total Sessions | The number of connected sessions on the specified date. |
Total Session Duration | The total duration of all connected sessions on the specified date. The duration of each session is the time between when the session is established and when the session is closed.
Maximum Session Duration | The largest value among the durations of all connected sessions on the specified date.
Average Session Duration | The average duration of all connected sessions on the specified date.
Resources | Resources | The number of cloud application resources, the number of subscription resources, and the number of pay-as-you-go resources that are collected on an hourly basis on the specified date.
By User Behavior | Cloud applications | Total Usage of Hot Cloud Apps | The usage duration of each of the 10 most frequently used cloud applications during the specified time period. The usage duration of a cloud application is the time between when the application is started and when the application is stopped. The usage duration includes the time during which the application window is minimized. |
Total Usage of All Cloud Apps | The total usage duration of all cloud applications during the specified time period.
Cloud App Usage by Hours | The usage duration of each cloud application by hour. |
