    App Streaming:Grant a RAM user the permissions to access the App Streaming console

    To ensure the security of App Streaming resources, a Resource Access Management (RAM) user cannot directly view or use specific features of the App Streaming console. To allow the RAM user to view or use all features of the App Streaming console, the administrator can grant the RAM user the corresponding permissions in the RAM console by using the Alibaba Cloud account to which the RAM user belongs.

    Background information

    When an unauthorized RAM user accesses specific features of the App Streaming console, the following error message is reported: You are not authorized to do this operation.

    To resolve the preceding error, you must grant the RAM user the permissions to access these features of the App Streaming console.

    Procedure

    Perform the following steps to attach the required policies to the RAM user:

    1. Log on to the RAM console by using the Alibaba Cloud account to which the RAM user belongs.

    2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Identities > Users.

    3. On the Users page, find the RAM user to which you want to grant the required permissions. Then, click Add Permissions in the Actions column.

    4. In the Grant Permission panel, configure the parameters and click Grant Permissions.

      1. Resource Scope: Select Account.

      2. In the Principal field, the RAM user to which you want to grant permissions is automatically specified.

      3. In the Policy section, search for or select the policy that you want to attach to the RAM user.

        To allow the RAM user to access all features of the App Streaming console, attach one of the following policies to the RAM user:

        • AliyunAppStreamingReadOnlyAccess: the read-only permissions on App Streaming.

        • AliyunAppStreamingFullAccess: full permissions on App Streaming.

        Note

        You can attach up to five policies to a RAM user at the same time. If you want to attach more than five policies, repeat the operation.

    Execution result

    After you attach the required policies to a RAM user, the RAM user has full permissions or the read-only permissions on the App Streaming console.
