App Streaming:Administrator console guide

Use the App Streaming console to provision end users, build custom images, and publish apps to those users. Follow the three steps below to go from an empty console to a working app delivery environment.

  • Step 1: Create users
    Create end users who use App Streaming. The usernames that you enter will be used as the logon usernames of the end users and the logon information will be sent to the email addresses that you enter.

  • Step 2: Create an image
    Create a custom image for the apps to be published for subsequent distribution in the delivery group.

  • Step 3: Publish a delivery group
    Create a delivery group to assign the created image to specific end users.

    Change the policy of a delivery group

    Release or delete a delivery group

Step 1: Create users

Create the end user accounts that will access App Streaming. The usernames you enter become the logon usernames, and the logon information is sent to the email addresses you provide.

Build a custom image that contains the apps you want to publish. The image is later assigned to a delivery group for distribution.
