Detect faults quickly through 24/7 monitoring and intelligent baseline alarms to minimize business impact.

24/7 Monitoring Duty

Enterprises with the necessary conditions can establish a Global Operations Center (GOC) for 24/7 monitoring to track anomalies and faults across core business systems. When exceptions occur in monitored scenarios, on-duty personnel can identify risks or faults through automated detection tools or manual analysis. Risk alarms and fault notifications then quickly dispatch emergency responders, helping avoid or reduce business impact.

24/7 monitoring is essential because alert accuracy cannot reach 100%. On-duty personnel must manually verify whether an alert represents a real exception to reduce invalid phone interruptions for development teams. Because false alarms and missed alarms both carry significant consequences, faults require manual confirmation before notification. The fault-handling process also demands manual coordination and follow-up. Emergency response is time-critical, making it difficult to guarantee Oncall response times. The main assessment indicators are notification timeliness rate, notification accuracy, and rapid recovery execution rate.

Intelligent Baseline Alarm

Intelligent baseline alarms combine statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to automatically learn historical patterns in metric data and detect abnormal fluctuations. Compared with custom alarm rules, they provide higher accuracy for metrics with periodic patterns. Key characteristics:

  • No manual rule configuration is required. Alarms are automatically generated based on historical metric data.

  • Suppresses false alarms caused by short-term high peaks and falls, such as business metric surges during promotion events.

  • Suppresses periodic false alarms. When a drop-type anomaly recurs at the same time across multiple days, the alarm is suppressed. This applies to scenarios with daily surges or scheduled drops in message tasks.

Focus on key business metrics across three scenarios: total success volume, success or failure rate, and failure volume.
