When your WAF instance expires and you no longer need WAF protection, terminate the service to stop routing traffic through WAF and release the instance.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that:
Your WAF instance has expired. For subscription instances, the Terminate WAF Service button is only available after the instance expires.
Your DNS records for all protected websites point to your origin servers, not to WAF CNAME addresses.
Terminate the service
Log on to the WAF console. In the top navigation bar, select the resource group and the region where your WAF instance is deployed (Chinese Mainland or Outside Chinese Mainland).
In the upper-right corner of the Overview page, click Terminate WAF Service.
Verify that DNS records for all protected websites point to your origin servers, then click OK.
What to do next
To resume WAF protection, purchase a new WAF 3.0 instance:
You can also go directly to the WAF buy page to compare options.
