If you use the Windows operating system and need to upload large files in batches, we recommend using the Windows client tool.
Limitations
You can upload a media file of up to 48.8 TB in size.
The upload records of the Windows client are stored in the %appdata%/AliVodClient folder. The client displays up to 500 recent upload records. If you upgrade the client or clear the folder, the upload records might not display.
Procedure
Step 1: Create a RAM user and an AccessKey pair
Create a RAM user.
For more information about how to create a RAM user, see Create a RAM user.
Grant the RAM user permissions to access ApsaraVideo VOD.
For more information about how to grant permissions to a RAM user, see Grant permissions to a RAM user.
Obtain an AccessKey pair to complete identity verification so that you can log on to the client. For more information, see Create an AccessKey pair.
Enable the VOD bucket in the desired region. For more information, see Manage storage buckets.
We recommend that you use the AccessKey ID and AccessKey secret of the RAM user to log on to the client. This helps isolate permissions and reduce the risk of configuration errors in the console.
Step 2: Use the client
Download and install the client on the computer.
