ApsaraVideo VOD:Export media assets

ApsaraVideo VOD allows you to export information about the uploaded media assets such as videos and images as CSV files and download the files for resource migration or operational data analysis.

Limits

  • You can export media assets only in the China (Shanghai) and China (Beijing) regions.

  • In a single export task, you can export a maximum of 100,000 audio or video files, 20,000 images, or 20,000 media assets of other types.

  • You can create a maximum of 100 tasks each day, and the data must be exported in the CSV format.

Usage notes

The exported files occupy storage space. You are charged for the occupied storage space. To prevent unnecessary storage fees, delete the exported files after they are downloaded.

Procedure

Export media assets from the data center

  1. Log on to the ApsaraVideo VOD console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Center > Export Media Data.

  3. On the Export Media Data page, click Create Export Task. In the dialog box that appears, set the parameters described in the following table and click OK.

    Description

    Task Name

    The name of the task.

    Media Type

    The type of the media assets that you want to export. Valid values: Video, Audio, Image, Video/Audio, and Attached Media.

    Note

    In a single export task, you can export a maximum of 100,000 audio or video files, 20,000 images, or 20,000 media assets of other types.

    Time Range

    The time range during which the media assets are stored in ApsaraVideo VOD. Valid values:

    • All: exports all media assets of the specified type.

    • Custom: exports media assets that are stored in ApsaraVideo VOD during the specified time range.

    Media Name

    The keyword that is used to match the media assets whose names contain this keyword. For example, if you set this parameter to animation, the task exports the specified type of media assets whose names contain this keyword and that are stored in ApsaraVideo VOD during the specified time range.

  4. Click OK to export the media assets. The task enters the Processing state.

  5. A long period of time may be required to complete the task based on the type, time range, and quantity of media assets. You can click Download to download media asset data in the CSV format after the task enters the Complete state.

What to do next

During the export, you can also cancel the task. After the export task is complete, you can delete the task.

Note

The exported files occupy storage space. You are charged for the occupied storage space. To prevent unnecessary storage fees, delete the exported files after they are downloaded.

Export media assets from the media asset library

Note
  • If no accelerated domain name is added, the exported media asset data includes media ID, media name, media duration (in seconds), media size (in bytes), category tag, creation time, and last update time.

  • After you add an accelerated domain name, video stream URLs are included in the exported media asset data, including the video URLs before and after the video is transcoded. The URL of the source file is included. Example:

    • Media ID, media name, media duration (in seconds), media size (in bytes), category tag, creation time, last update time, SD_MP4, and HD_MP4.

  • For more information about how to add a domain name, see Add a domain name for CDN.

  1. Log on to the ApsaraVideo VOD console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Media Files and click Audio/Video, Image, or Short Video Material.

  3. On the page that appears, click the Download button to export media assets.

    On the Audio/Video page, you can also select specific audio and video files and click Export in the lower part of the page. 媒资信息导出1

  4. After the download is complete, you can obtain the downloaded CSV file from the download record of your browser.
