What is CNAME record
A CNAME record is a type of DNS records that points a custom domain name (such as video.example.com) to another (such as vod-xxx.aliyuncs.com in ApsaraVideo VOD). It is used to direct business traffic to cloud services nodes, such as CDN and ApsaraVideo VOD.
CNAME configuration
Log in to your DNS provider's console and navigate to the domain resolution management page. Enter your custom subdomain as the hostname and the CNAME value provided by the cloud service provider (target domain name). Save the CNAME record and wait for the configuration to take effect. Make sure that the record value is accurate and verify the resolution result using tools.
