Notice for the new storage cleanup policy - ApsaraVideo VOD

Dear Alibaba Cloud ApsaraVideo VOD user,

At 00:00:00 on November 1, 2022, a new system disk cleanup policy comes into effect.

New cleanup rules

The storage for ApsaraVideo VOD is disabled if your Alibaba Cloud account meets all the following conditions:

ApsaraVideo VOD has not been used for more than two consecutive years.
Media assets that are stored in ApsaraVideo VOD are less than or equal to 50 GB.
No domain name is configured in ApsaraVideo VOD.

After the storage for ApsaraVideo VOD is disabled, the media files stored in buckets are automatically cleared and cannot be restored.

If you want to use ApsaraVideo VOD again after the storage is disabled, enable system storage. For more information, see Enable VOD buckets.
