    After your business qualification is verified, you can apply to purchase numbers in the console.

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the Voice Service console.

    2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Number Management > Apply for Number.

    3. On the page that appears, complete the application form.

      Number information

      Note Name

      Enter a custom name for the number application.

      Country/Region of number

      Select the country or region of the number.

      Number type

      Select the number type.

      • Fixed: A landline number.

      • Mobile: A mobile phone number.

      • Toll-free: A toll-free number.

      Number purpose

      Select the call scope for the number.

      • Local call

      • International call

      Call destination country/region

      Select one or more destination countries or regions for calls.

      Call type

      Select the call type.

      • Inbound

      • Inbound and outbound

      Note

      Inbound calls are not supported for toll-free numbers.

      Quantity

      Enter the quantity of numbers to apply for.

      Expected delivery date

      Select the expected delivery date for the number.

      Note

      The delivery date is in UTC+8.

      Due to international carrier delivery times, select a date at least 15 business days in the future. This helps prevent your application from being closed if the delivery date cannot be met.

      Monthly Estimation

      Inbound

      Enter the estimated monthly inbound usage.

      Outbound

      Enter the estimated monthly outbound usage.

      Estimated total concurrency

      Enter the estimated total concurrency.

      Contract period

      Enter the validity period for the application.

      Contact name

      Enter the name of the contact.

      Contact number

      Enter the phone number of the contact.

      Qualification Document

      Qualification document

      Select an approved qualification document.

    4. Click Submit Application.

      After you submit the application, it enters the review process.

      Important

      • After you submit your application, Alibaba Cloud staff will complete a preliminary review within one business day. If your application passes the preliminary review, the number will be provisioned within 15 business days.

      • Due to limited inventory, numbers might not be available even if your application passes the preliminary review. The final provisioning result is subject to system availability.
