Voice Service:Create an audio file

Last Updated:Nov 24, 2023

An approved audio file can be used as a voice template. The content of a voice template is the audio content that an end user hears when the end user answers a call. This topic describes how to upload an audio file and listen to the audio after it passes the approval in the Voice Messaging Service (VMS) console.

Upload an audio file

  1. Log on to the VMS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose International Voice Call > Voice Call Template > Audio File.

  3. On the Audio File tab, click Add Audio File. On the page that appears, configure the following parameters:

    • Country/Region: Select a country or region where the audio file is used.

    • Enterprise Qualification: Select an approved enterprise qualification.

    • Audio File: Upload an audio file that is in the WAV format and less than 10 MB in size.

  4. Click OK.

Audio file approval

After the audio file is uploaded, it is pending for approval. The approval of the audio file is expected to be completed within 2 hours. After the audio file is approved, you can obtain the template ID on the Audio File tab. The approval of audio files is carried out from 09:00 to 23:00 (UTC+8) every day, excluding statutory holidays.

Note
  • You can view the rejection reason in the Status column.

  • You can obtain and listen to the approved audio file in the Audio column.
