    Tair:Enable release protection for an instance

    To prevent important instances from being released by accident and improve system security, you can enable release protection for pay-as-you-go Tair instances. After you enable release protection for an instance, you cannot release the instance by using the console or by calling an API operation.

    Prerequisites

    The instance for which you want to enable release protection is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis.

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the Tair console and go to the Instances page. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the instance that you want to manage resides. Then, find the instance and click the instance ID.

    2. In the Basic information section, click Set to the right of Instance Release Protection.

    3. In the Set Release Protection panel, turn on Release Protection.

    4. Click OK.

      Note

      To release the instance, disable release protection for the instance.
