Tablestore:Condition

Last Updated:Aug 28, 2026

The Condition structure specifies a row condition, which determines whether Tablestore performs a row write operation on the target row. A row condition consists of two fields: row_existence and column_condition.

Data structure

The Condition structure is defined as follows:

message Condition {
    required RowExistenceExpectation row_existence = 1;
    optional bytes column_condition = 2;
}

The following table describes the fields in the Condition structure.

NameTypeRequiredDescription
row_existenceRowExistenceExpectationYesThe expected existence state of the target row. Tablestore performs the operation only if the target row matches this expectation.
column_conditionbytesNoThe column condition. The value is the byte array that is generated after a Filter is serialized using protobuf.
