Tablestore:Overdue payments and service suspension

This document describes the process and impact when a Tablestore instance has an overdue payment.

An overdue payment can cause instance downtime and poses a risk of data deletion. The system sends reminder notifications. We recommend that you renew your instance in a timely manner to ensure service continuity.

Description

Pay-as-you-go mode

If your account has an overdue payment, the instance continues to run. The system sends an overdue payment reminder.

Add funds to your account promptly to cover the overdue amount. Otherwise, the instance will stop 15 days after the payment becomes overdue.

The instance stops and billing stops 15 days after the payment becomes overdue.

If you add funds to your account to cover the overdue amount within 15 days after the service stops, the service automatically resumes and billing restarts.

The instance is released 15 days after the service stops.

After the instance is released, its data cannot be recovered.

After you add funds to your Alibaba Cloud account to cover the overdue amount, the system automatically deducts the outstanding Tablestore charges. If your instance was suspended due to an overdue payment, the service automatically resumes and billing restarts once the overdue amount is cleared.
