Tablestore:Create an instance for the TimeSeries model

After you create an instance for the TimeSeries model, you can get started with the TimeSeries model by using the Tablestore console, Tablestore CLI, or Tablestore SDKs.

Usage notes

  • You cannot change the instance type after an instance is created.

  • Each Alibaba Cloud account can create up to 10 instances. The name of an instance must be unique within the region in which the instance resides.

  • The TimeSeries model is supported in the following regions: China (Hangzhou), China (Shanghai), China (Beijing), China (Zhangjiakou), China (Ulanqab), China (Shenzhen), China (Chengdu), China (Hong Kong), Japan (Tokyo), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Germany (Frankfurt), Indonesia (Jakarta), UK (London), US (Silicon Valley), US (Virginia), SAU (Riyadh - Partner Region), and Singapore.

    Note

    You can create instances for the TimeSeries model in the following regions: China (Hangzhou), China (Shanghai), China (Beijing), China (Zhangjiakou), China (Shenzhen), SAU (Riyadh - Partner Region), and Singapore. If the Create Instance for TimeSeries Model button is not available in a region that supports the TimeSeries model, click Create Instance. For more information, see Create an instance.

  • The following regions support the Lastpoint index and analytical store features: China (Hangzhou), China (Beijing), China (Shanghai), and China (Zhangjiakou). If you want to use the Lastpoint index or analytical store feature, create an instance for the TimeSeries model in one of the preceding regions.

    Note
    • You can use an analytical store to store time series data for a long period of time or analyze time series data. For more information, see Time series analytical storage.

    • You can use a Lastpoint index to obtain the data of the monitored object at the most recent point in time. For more information, see Lastpoint index.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Tablestore console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, select a resource group and a region.

  3. On the Overview page, click Create Instance for TimeSeries Model.

  4. In the Create Instance for TimeSeries Model dialog box, configure the Instance Type and Instance Name parameters. The Instance Description parameter is optional.

  5. Click OK.
