1. Service overview

Alibaba Cloud Service Health Dashboard (SHD) provides the running status and maintenance information of mainstream Alibaba Cloud services in real time.

2. Service scope

  • SHD provides the running status of mainstream Alibaba Cloud services in different regions.

  • SHD pushes the scheduled maintenance events of mainstream Alibaba Cloud services.

  • SHD pushes the exception events of mainstream Alibaba Cloud services.

SHD does not support the following activities:

  • Code development

  • Configuration guidance and troubleshooting of third-party software that is not included in the third-party software appendix

  • Daily operation and maintenance for all third-party software, such as software installation, patch installation, tests, fault diagnosis, and optimization

3. Prerequisites

SHD provides a real-time monitoring page for you to view the running status of mainstream Alibaba Cloud services in different regions and also allows you to call an API operation to query the running status of a specific Alibaba Cloud service in a specific region. When you call an API operation, you must comply with the related service description and statement of work.

3.1 Division of work

3.1.1 Customer and Alibaba Cloud

The customer can view the running status of mainstream Alibaba Cloud services in different regions on the real-time monitoring page or by calling an API operation.

3.1.2 Customer

The customer views the running status of mainstream Alibaba Cloud services on the real-time monitoring page.

The customer calls an API operation to query the running status of an Alibaba Cloud service.

3.1.3 Alibaba Cloud

SHD provides the running status of mainstream Alibaba Cloud services in different regions.

3.1.4 Completion standards

The customer can view the running status of mainstream Alibaba Cloud services in different regions on the real-time monitoring page or by calling an API operation.

4. SLA

Alibaba Cloud SHD allows you to query the running status and events of mainstream Alibaba Cloud services.

5. Service process

If you have any questions after receiving SHD information, submit a ticket.

6. Acceptance criteria

Alibaba Cloud provides you with the following information:

  1. Running status of mainstream Alibaba Cloud services in different regions

  2. Messages of scheduled events for mainstream Alibaba Cloud services:

    1. Details of scheduled events are displayed in the Recent events section on the real-time monitoring page.

    2. The details of a scheduled event include the scheduling before the event, the symptoms and required operations during the event, and review after the event.

  3. Messages of maintenance events for mainstream Alibaba Cloud services:

    1. If a maintenance event occurs in a service on the current day, the service is marked with Notice on the real-time monitoring page.

    2. You can query details of maintenance events on the real-time monitoring page or by calling an API operation.

    3. Maintenance events that occurred within the last year are archived.

  4. Messages of exception events for mainstream Alibaba Cloud services:

    1. If an exception event occurs in a service on the current day, the service is marked with Abnormal on the real-time monitoring page.

    2. You can query details of exception events on the real-time monitoring page or by calling an API operation.

    3. Exception events that occurred within the last five years at least are archived.

The activities on your side and the acceptance are completed.
