SuperApp:DNS Configuration Guide

Last Updated:May 14, 2025

This document aims to guide you on how to correctly add and configure DNS records in your DNS management system.

After entering your custom domain name on the SuperApp Development Platform settings page and clicking「Get DNS Address」, you will receive a CNAME address provided by SuperApp. You need to set the DNS resolution address of your domain to this CNAME address.

1. Operation Steps

If your domain resolution is hosted with Alibaba Cloud DNS, you can directly follow the steps below. If you use another DNS service provider, please refer to the following steps and perform similar configurations in your DNS service provider's system.

  1. Log in to the Alibaba Cloud DNS Console.

  2. On the「Authoritative DNS Resolution」page, locate the domain you want to set up, and click 「DNS Settings」under the「Actions」column.

  3. Click the「Add DNS Record」button, select 「Record Type」as "CNAME", enter the host record as your custom domain prefix, and fill in the「Record Value」with the CNAME address provided by SuperApp.

    1. When modifying DNS resolution records, please note the following:

      1. The TTL value is generally recommended to be set to 10 minutes. The larger the TTL value, the slower the synchronization and update of DNS records.

      2. If you have existing resolution records, you need to modify them. For the same host record, only one CNAME resolution record value can be filled. You need to modify it to the SuperApp CNAME address, which will overwrite your previous resolution records.

  4. Click「Confirm」to complete the modification of the resolution settings and wait for the updated DNS resolution records to take effect.

    1. Verify the DNS resolution settings. You can ping the website domain or use a DNS testing tool to verify if the DNS resolution has taken effect.

  5. Notes

    1. Since DNS resolution records take some time to propagate, if the verification fails, you can wait for 10 minutes and try again.
