Control STAROps spending by setting a monthly credit usage limit. When the limit is reached, the platform automatically blocks operations that consume credits.
How the monthly limit works
You can define a monthly cap on credit consumption in STAROps. When cumulative usage in the current month reaches the cap, the platform automatically blocks any operation that would consume additional credits. View-only and configuration operations are not affected.
Set the monthly usage limit

Log in to the STAROps console.

In the left navigation pane, choose .

In the Monthly Usage Limit section, enter the target limit value and click Save.
Only the Alibaba Cloud primary account or RAM users with the required permissions can configure the monthly credit limit.
Throttling behavior
When the monthly limit is reached, throttling applies as follows:

Throttling is triggered by the monthly credit cap you configure, and is independent of the actual pay-as-you-go billing amount. To lift the throttle, raise the limit on the Credit Management page or wait for the automatic reset at the start of the next month.
