Public domain name monitoring tracks the HTTPS service status of multiple websites and detects SSL certificate-related risks before they affect your users. This topic describes the billing method, expiration behavior, and refund policy for this feature.
Billing method
Public domain name monitoring is a subscription-based service. You are charged based on the number of resource plans you select. The price varies by resource plan specification.

Expiration
When the monitoring period expires, Alibaba Cloud stops monitoring the HTTPS service status of your domain names. The value in the Remainder of Monitoring Validity Period (Days) column changes to 0.
| Scenario | Action |
|---|---|
| Before expiration | Renew within 30 calendar days before the expiration date to continue monitoring without interruption. |
| After expiration | Renewal is no longer available. To resume monitoring, re-enable the feature for your domain names. |
Refund policy
A full refund is available only if both of the following conditions are met:
The request is submitted within 7 days of purchase.
The feature has not been enabled for any domain names.
To request a refund:
Log in to the Certificate Management Service console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Comprehensive Management > Refund Management.
From the Order Type drop-down list, select Public Domain Name Monitoring.
Find the target order and click Refund in the Actions column.
In the Refund Application panel, click Refunded.
If the console displays the following message, the order is not eligible for a refund:
The refund failed because the eligible refund period has expired or the instance has been enabled.
