When a migration task fails with "SyncData.NotReport The migration source has not reported progress for a long time", the Server Migration Center (SMC) client on the migration source has stopped. Restart the client to resume the task.
Problem description
A migration task in SMC fails with the following error:
"SyncData.NotReport The migration source has not reported progress for a long time"
Cause
The SMC client on the migration source stopped unexpectedly and can no longer report migration progress.
Solution

Log on to the migration source remotely and go to the SMC client installation directory.

If the migration source was imported automatically using the SMC console or the ECS console, use the default installation directory:
Linux:
/smc/go2aliyun_client*/Windows:
C:\smc\go2aliyun_client*\
If you imported the migration source by manually downloading the client, go to the directory you specified during installation.

Start the SMC client.
Linux: Run
./go2aliyun_client.Windows: In Command Prompt, run
go2aliyun_client.exe.

Check the client status.
If the client starts without errors, the migration source status returns to normal and the migration task resumes automatically.
If the client reports an error, check the client logs for details, fix the underlying issue, and then start the client again.
