Log Service provides alert records as logs. It also automatically creates a dashboard to visualize the execution and notification status of all your alert rules.
Background information
-
View alert logs in a Logstore
When you create an alert rule, Log Service automatically creates a Logstore named internal-alert-history in the Project that contains the alert rule. Each time an alert rule in the Project is executed, Log Service generates and writes a log to this Logstore, regardless of whether an alert was triggered. For a description of the log fields, see Alert log fields.
NoteThis Logstore does not incur any charges and cannot be deleted or modified. Logs are retained for 7 days.
-
View alert records on a dashboard
After you create an alert rule, Log Service creates a dashboard named internal-alert-analysis by default in the Project that contains the alert rule. This dashboard displays your alert records and shows statistics on all alert activities within the Project, such as the total number of alerts, execution success rate, notification success rate, and the top 10 most frequently executed alert rules.
NoteThis dashboard cannot be deleted or modified.
