  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Alerts.

  4. On the Alert Center page, click the Alert Monitoring Rule tab, and then click the target alert rule.

  5. On the Alert Overview page, view the associated dashboard, creation time, last update, check frequency, enabled status, monitoring status, and alert history report.

The alert history report includes three panels: Number of alerts, Execution success rate, and Alert trigger trend.

Modify an alert rule

On the Alert Overview page, click Edit Configurations to modify the alert rule. The parameters are the same as in Create an alert rule.

Enable or disable an alert rule

After creating an alert rule, enable or disable it in the Basic Information section on the Alert Overview page by setting the Status status.

Note

Disabling an alert rule stops all alert checks and notifications.

Suspend and resume alert notifications

When the status of an alert rule is Enabled., disable alert notifications. On the Alert Overview page, click Settings next to Monitoring Status and set the disable duration.

During suspension, the Monitoring Status section displays the resumption time. To resume early, click Settings next to Monitoring Status.

Note

During suspension, Log Service continues alert checks but does not send notifications even if trigger conditions are met.

Delete an alert rule

To delete an alert rule, click Delete Alert on the Alert Overview page.

Important

Deleted alert rules cannot be restored.

Copy an alert rule

  1. Log on to the Simple Log Service console.

  2. In the Projects section, click the one you want.

    image

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Alerts.

  4. On the Alert Center page, on the Alert Monitoring Rule tab, find the target alert rule and click image > Copy in the Actions column.

  5. In the Destination Project dialog box, select the destination Destination Project and logstore. In More Settings, set the Destination Alert Name, Destination Alert Status, and Destination Alert ID, and click OK.

    Warning
    • If you do not set the Destination Alert Name, Destination Alert Status, and Destination Alert ID, the source rule settings are used.

    • If the copied alert rule is associated with a dashboard, the dashboard is also copied by default and may overwrite a dashboard with the same ID in the destination project.

    • If you do not select a destination logstore, Log Service defaults to a logstore with the same name in the destination project. If none exists, a LogStoreNotExist error occurs and alert checks fail.

  6. In the Copy Result dialog box, view the copy details.

The copy details include Destination project, Alert, First logstore (other logstores use original values), Copy status, and Copy message.

  7. After the alert rule is copied, go to the destination project and view the copied rule on the Alert Center page. The copied rule has the same configuration as the source rule.

Log Service appends -copy to the copied rule name (for example, New Alert Rule-copy). The copied rule status is Running.
