Service quotas define the maximum number of resources that an Alibaba Cloud account can use, or the maximum number of operations that an Alibaba Cloud account can perform. This topic describes the quotas of Classic Load Balancer (CLB) and their default values. This topic also describes whether the quotas are adjustable.
Quotas are set on a per-region or per-account basis. Quotas are categorized into the following types:
General quotas: the limits on cloud resources that are available to an Alibaba Cloud account.
API rate limits: the limits on API calls that an Alibaba Cloud account can make in a specific period of time. API rate limits are also known as QPS limits.
Privileges: the permissions of an Alibaba Cloud account to use advanced features.
CLB provides general quotas and privileges and allows you to adjust some quotas. You can log on to the Quota Center console or go to the Quota Center page of the CLB console to view or adjust quotas. For more information about how to manage CLB quotas, see Manage CLB quotas.
General quotas
The following tables describe the general quotas of CLB.
