Alibaba Cloud monitors and blocks suspicious actions in real time. If you use a third-party CDN or security vendor to forward requests or perform security scans, Alibaba Cloud Security may treat these behaviors as suspicious and block access. CDN and security vendors can apply to add their IP addresses to the global whitelist to avoid such disruptions.
CDN and security vendors (the applicant) can apply to add the IP addresses of their products to the global whitelist of Alibaba Cloud Security basic protection by following this procedure.
- A list of the IP addresses to be added to the whitelist. If the list is long, provide an official link or send it as an email attachment.
- Usage descriptions of the IP addresses.
- A commitment to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and Alibaba Cloud policies. The applicant must commit to not launching any type of attack against Alibaba Cloud users. If the whitelisted IP addresses pose security threats to Alibaba Cloud users or are used to commit law violations or patent infringements, the applicant bears full liability for the resulting impact and must compensate Alibaba Cloud for any losses.

- The applicant’s corporate seal.
The applicant must send the electronic copy of the company’s business license and the official letter by email to the following addresses:

Authorization
After receiving an application, Alibaba Cloud sends an initial non-automatic reply to the applicant within two working days. Alibaba Cloud may request the applicant to clarify any issues with the application materials during the review process. The review may take several working days. When the review is completed, Alibaba Cloud notifies the applicant of the result.
Alibaba Cloud may clean the whitelist periodically in accordance with its policies. The applicant must notify Alibaba Cloud of any changes to the IP addresses of the relevant products. If Alibaba Cloud determines that whitelisted IP addresses pose security threats to Alibaba Cloud users, Alibaba Cloud removes these IP addresses permanently and reserves the right to hold the applicant legally accountable.
