Security Control allows you to configure the access whitelist.
Overview
Security Control does not restrict access from source IP addresses on the access whitelist to target hosts, even if the traffic may introduce security risks. Add IP addresses to the whitelist with caution.
Add an IP address to the whitelist

Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Security Control console.
NoteMove your cursor to the account icon in the upper-right corner of the Alibaba Cloud console, and click Security Console to go to the Alibaba Cloud Security Control console.
Choose , then click Add.

Configure the whitelist entry, then click OK.

Description
Source IP address
Enter an IP address that does not belong to the current Alibaba Cloud account.
Target ECS instances
Select ECS instances from the list on the left and click the right arrow button to move them to the list on the right. Only ECS instances that belong to the current Alibaba Cloud account are available.
Security Control no longer restricts access from the source IP address to the selected ECS instances.
NoteThe whitelist entry takes effect within 10 minutes after you add the IP address.

To remove an IP address from the whitelist, select the record on the Access Whitelist page and click Invalid (remove from whitelist). Security Control resumes restricting access from that IP address.
NoteTo allow access from a removed IP address again, re-add it to the whitelist.
