An application acceleration plan uses the high-quality network bandwidth of Alibaba Cloud to reduce latency, jitter, and packet loss when you access applications. Use an application acceleration plan for faster and more reliable access to applications outside the Chinese mainland.
Prerequisites
Your on-premises network is connected to Alibaba Cloud through Smart Access Gateway (SAG).
Purchase an application acceleration plan
Log on to the SAG console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Application Acceleration Plan.
On the Application Acceleration Bandwidth Plan page, click Purchase Bandwidth Plan.
On the Application Acceleration Bandwidth Plan page, configure the following parameters, click Buy Now, and complete the payment.
Parameter | Description |
Region | Select the region where the users that require accelerated access to the applications are located. |
Plan type | Select the plan type. By default, Advanced Application Acceleration Plan is selected. |
Maximum bandwidth | Select the maximum bandwidth of the plan. Unit: Mbps. |
Subscription Period | Select the subscription duration of the plan. |
Plan name | Enter a name for the plan. |
Upgrade an application acceleration plan
Before you upgrade an application acceleration plan, make sure that its Status is Effective.
Log on to the SAG console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Application Acceleration Plan.
On the Application Acceleration Plan page, find the application acceleration plan and click Upgrade in the Actions column.
On the Change Specification page, configure Maximum bandwidth. For a description of this parameter, see the parameter table in Purchase an application acceleration plan.
In the Terms of Service section, read and select Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and then complete the payment.
Downgrade an application acceleration plan
Log on to the SAG console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Application Acceleration Plan.
On the Application Acceleration Plan page, find the application acceleration plan and click Downgrade in the Actions column.
On the Downgrade page, configure Maximum bandwidth. For a description of this parameter, see the parameter table in Purchase an application acceleration plan.
In the Terms of Service section, read and select Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and then complete the payment.
Renew an application acceleration plan
Before you renew an application acceleration plan, make sure that its Status is Effective.
Log on to the SAG console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Application Acceleration Plan.
On the Application Acceleration Plan page, find the application acceleration plan and click Renew in the Actions column.
On the Renew page, configure Subscription Period.
In the Terms of Service section, read and select Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and then complete the payment.
