Upgrade SAG Instance Firmware with Minimal Downtime - Smart Access Gateway - Alibaba Cloud - Smart Access Gateway

You can upgrade the software on a gateway device in the Smart Access Gateway console. We recommend upgrading to the latest version.

Background

The upgrade takes about 10 minutes.

Warning The upgrade process may cause a network interruption. To minimize impact, perform the upgrade during off-peak hours.

Log on to the Smart Access Gateway console.
Go to the Device Settings page:
- Click the ID of the target SAG instance to open its details page, and then click Device Settings.
- In the Operation column of the target SAG instance, choose > Device Settings.
Select the device that you want to upgrade (if active and standby devices exist), and then click Upgrade Version.
On the Upgrade Version page, choose an upgrade method:
- On the Manual Update tab, select a target version and click OK.
- On the Automatic Update tab, select Authorize Alibaba Cloud to automatically upgrade Smart Access Gateway to the latest version, specify a time zone and time period, and then click OK.
Note To disable the automatic upgrade feature, select Disable Automatic Upgrade.
