Smart Access Gateway:Manage quotas

The Smart Access Gateway (SAG) console displays the resource quotas in your account. If a quota doesn't meet your business requirements, submit a quota increase request directly from the console. The system reviews requests automatically and applies approved quotas immediately.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

View and request a quota increase

  1. Log on to the SAG console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Quotas to view the resource quotas in your account.

  3. Find the resource for which you want a higher quota, then click Submit Application in the Actions column.

  4. In the Apply for Quota panel, configure the following parameters, then click OK.

    ParameterDescription
    QuantityThe new quota value. Must be greater than the current quota.
    ReasonThe reason for the increase, including your scenarios and requirements.
    Mobile/Landline Phone NumberThe phone number of the applicant.
    EmailThe email address of the applicant.

After you submit the request, click History in the History column to track the application status in the History panel.

Review outcomes

The system automatically reviews your quota increase request. The outcome depends on the value you requested:

ApprovedThe requested value is within the valid range.The new quota takes effect immediately. No further action needed.
RejectedThe requested value exceeds the upper limit.Enter a smaller value and submit the request again.
