Activate a Smart Access Gateway (SAG) device before using it. Activation is required in two situations: when you receive an SAG device, and after you reset an existing device.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that you have an Alibaba Cloud account with access to the SAG console.
Activate a new device
Log on to the SAG console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region.
On the Smart Access Gateway page, find the target SAG instance.
In the Actions column, choose
> Activate.In the Activate dialog box, click OK.
Activate a device after reset
Log on to the SAG console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region.
On the Smart Access Gateway page, click the target SAG instance.
On the instance details page, click the Device Management tab.
If the SAG instance is associated with two SAG devices, select the device you want to activate.
Click Activate Device.
