Resource Orchestration Service (ROS) provides the quick diagnostics feature to help you diagnose the causes of failed ROS API calls and ROS stack executions. This topic describes how to diagnose a stack that is in the Creation Failed state.
Scenario
You may fail to create a stack. When a stack is in the Creation Failed state, you can click Diagnostics to diagnose the error message of the stack, identify the failure causes, and obtain the remediation suggestions. Then, you can follow the suggestions to remediate the issues and create the stack again.
Procedure
Log on to the ROS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Stacks.
In the top navigation bar, select the region of the desired stack from the region drop-down list. In this example, China (Hangzhou) is selected.
On the Stacks page, find the stack that is in the Creation Failed state and click Diagnostics in the Actions column.
The Diagnostics page appears.
NoteThe diagnostic process requires a certain period of time. Wait until the diagnostic process is complete.
View data in the Diagnostics Results and Suggestions sections, and follow the suggestions to create the stack again.
