Resource Orchestration Service:How to diagnose the cause of a stack creation failure?

ROS quick diagnostics

1. Log on to the Resource Orchestration Service (ROS) console.

2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Stacks.

3. On the Stacks page, click the ID of the target stack.

4. In the upper-right corner of the stack page, choose Quick Diagnostics.

   After the quick diagnostics report is generated, you can view the results on the Quick Diagnostics page.

   Note

   The quick diagnostics feature can diagnose only error messages from the past 7 days.

OpenAPI issue diagnostics

1. In the navigation pane on the left, click Stacks.

2. On the Stacks page, click the ID of the target stack.

3. On the Stack Information page, hover over the status description and copy the error message that contains the RequestID.

4. Go to the OpenAPI Issue Diagnostics page and enter the error message.

5. Click Diagnose.

   You can view the corresponding solution on the page.
