Resource Management:Accept or reject a resource sharing invitation

Limits

• You need to accept or reject a resource sharing invitation only if your account is not the management account or a member of a resource directory. For accounts within a resource directory, the system automatically accepts the invitation.
• A resource sharing invitation is valid for seven days. You must accept or reject the invitation within this period.

Accept a resource sharing invitation

1. Log on to the Resource Management console.
2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Resource Sharing > Resources Shared To Me.
3. On the Resources Shared To Me page, find the target resource share and click Accept in the Status column.
4. In the Accept Resource Sharing Invitation dialog, click Accept.
   After you accept the invitation, you can access and use the shared resources. Future resources added to the resource share are also automatically shared with you.

Reject a resource sharing invitation

1. Log on to the Resource Management console.
2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Resource Sharing > Resources Shared To Me.
3. On the Resources Shared To Me page, find the target resource share and click Reject in the Status column.
4. In the Reject Resource Sharing Invitation dialog, click Reject.
   After you reject the invitation, you can no longer access or use the shared resources.
