Mobile phone numbers verify member account identity and receive critical notifications such as password resets, instance releases, and billing changes. Bind or modify the mobile phone number for a member account in Resource Directory.
Before you begin
For security and auditing, use a RAM user under the management account with the AliyunResourceDirectoryFullAccess policy. Create a RAM user.
Limitations
Maximum 100 verification codes per day per resource account or cloud account.
Bind a mobile phone number
Bind a mobile phone number to a resource account or a cloud account.

Log on to the Resource Management console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose .

In the Resource Organization View or Member List View, find the target member account, and in the Actions column, click
> Bind Mobile Phone Number. -
In the Bind Mobile Phone Number dialog box, enter a mobile phone number, then get and enter the verification code.

Click OK.
Modify a mobile phone number
Modify the mobile phone number bound to a resource account or a cloud account.

Log on to the Resource Management console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose .

In the Resource Organization View or Member List View, find the target member account, and in the Actions column, click
> Bind Mobile Phone Number. -
In the Modify Mobile Phone Number dialog box, enter the new mobile phone number, then get and enter the verification code.

Click Modify.
Alternatively, in step 3 above, click the Alibaba Cloud Account ID of the target member account. Go to the Basic Information section and click Modify next to Mobile Phone Number.
