    Resource Directory API has two versions. This topic describes the key differences between them to help you choose the right version.

    Resource Directory API is available in two versions: 2022-04-19 (new version) and 2020-03-31 (old version).

    • Both versions have the same features. Use only one version in your application.

      Note

      API operations no longer maintained in the 2020-03-31 version are not available in the 2022-04-19 version.

    • The two versions use different endpoints.

      • 2022-04-19: Endpoints differ between the China site (aliyun.com) and the international site (alibabacloud.com). For details, see Endpoints.

      • 2020-03-31: The endpoint resourcemanager.aliyuncs.com is used for both the China site (aliyun.com) and the international site (alibabacloud.com).

    • Use the 2022-04-19 version for all new development.

      The 2020-03-31 version remains functional but will no longer be maintained. New features are added only to the 2022-04-19 version.
