If your account has an overdue payment, your workspace becomes unavailable. You can top up your account within a specific period of time to restore your workspace. This prevents the impact on your business. This topic describes the impact of overdue payments on the workspaces of fully managed Flink and the handling policies.
Precautions
If an overdue payment exists for the Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS) service, the associated workspace of fully managed Flink becomes unavailable. If the ARMS service is stopped due to overdue payments, the metric curve and alerting capabilities become invalid.
Subscription workspaces
If your Alibaba Cloud account has overdue payments, you can use the existing subscription workspaces. However, you cannot perform operations that involve fees. For example, you cannot purchase new workspaces or renew orders.
A subscription workspace has a validity period based on the subscription duration that you specify when you purchase the workspace. After the subscription duration of a subscription workspace ends, you can no longer use the workspace. If you do not renew the subscription workspace within a specified period of time, the workspace is automatically released. For more information about resource changes of an expired subscription workspace and the related operations, see Resource changes for an expired subscription instance.
Pay-as-you-go workspaces
If your Alibaba Cloud account has overdue payments, your pay-as-you-go workspaces are suspended. If you do not settle your overdue payments within a specific period of time, you cannot use pay-as-you-go workspaces. The following table describes the resource changes of a pay-as-you-go workspace whose payment is overdue and the related operations.
Payment status | Suspension policy | Solution | |
Overdue | Within 15 days after a payment becomes overdue |
| You can top up your account. After your account has sufficient balance, you can continue to use the workspace. |
