ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL lets you view planned, in-progress, and completed performance events, such as exception events, optimization events, and auto scaling events. This real-time monitoring helps you understand database performance issues and related operations and maintenance (O&M) actions.
Events and suggestions
Go to the Instances page. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the RDS instance resides. Then, find the RDS instance and click the ID of the instance.

In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring and Alerts.

On the Performance Events page, click the Events and Suggestions tab.
NoteThe time range cannot exceed seven days, and the end time must be later than the start time.

In the Exceptions section, view statistics for exception events.

In the Optimization Events section, view statistics for optimization events.
Filter events by Event Level, Event Name, or Event Type to find a specific event.
In the Actions column, click Details.

Planned and in-progress events
Go to the Instances page. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the RDS instance resides. Then, find the RDS instance and click the ID of the instance.

In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring and Alerts.

On the Performance Events page, click the Events in Plan/Execution tab.
Filter events by Event Level to find a specific event.
In the Actions column, click Details.
Executed events
Go to the Instances page. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the RDS instance resides. Then, find the RDS instance and click the ID of the instance.

On the Performance Events page, click the Executed Events tab.
