Zero-ETL lets you sync data from ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL to a data warehouse in real time — no extract, transform, and load (ETL) pipelines to build or maintain, and no sync charges.
Key concepts
Zero-ETL task A managed data synchronization task that replicates data from an ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instance to a destination data warehouse. You select the source instance and destination cluster; zero-ETL handles the rest.
Synchronization link A supported source-to-destination pairing for zero-ETL. ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL can sync to ApsaraDB for ClickHouse or AnalyticDB for MySQL.
Data warehouse The destination cluster that receives and stores replicated data for analytics. Supported options are AnalyticDB for MySQL clusters and ApsaraDB for ClickHouse clusters.
Benefits
Ease of use — Select a source instance and a destination cluster to create a real-time sync task. No complex ETL pipelines to build or manage.
Zero cost — Sync data to a data warehouse free of charge.
Multi-source aggregation — Sync data from multiple ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instances to an AnalyticDB for MySQL cluster or ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster to build a unified analytics view.
NoteWhen syncing from multiple ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instances to an ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster, make sure the objects synchronized in different tasks do not overlap.
