This topic describes the specifications for RDS DuckDB analytic read-only instances, including their computing resources and storage capacity.

High-availability primary instance
For a high-availability primary instance, you can add the following types of DuckDB analytical read-only instances:

High-performance local disks
Currently, only primary instances that use a high-performance local SSD in the following regions support adding DuckDB-based analytical read-only instances: China (Beijing), China (Shanghai), China (Hangzhou), China (Shenzhen), China (Qingdao), Singapore, and China (Hong Kong).
