    Resource Access Management:Delete a custom policy

    You can delete a custom policy if it is no longer needed or when permissions change.

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the Resource Access Management (RAM) console as a RAM administrator.

    2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Permissions > Policies.

    3. On the Policies page, find the custom policy that you want to delete and click Delete Policy in the Actions column.

    4. In the Delete Policy dialog box, read the on-screen instructions, enter the policy name for confirmation, and then click Delete Policy.

      Deleting a policy also deletes all of its versions. If the policy is attached to a RAM user, RAM user group, or RAM role, deleting the policy revokes the permissions that are granted by the policy. Before you delete a policy, evaluate the potential impact.
