Quick BI:User Logon

Last Updated:Apr 21, 2025

For data security purposes, you can view and manage your account logons on different devices to ensure the security of your account and data. This topic describes account logon rules and how to configure and manage your account.

Account logon rules

  • The following scenarios describe how to manage the security of logons from the same account.

    1. The same account can log on once on each of 3 devices, such as a PC, a mobile phone, and a tablet.

      Note

Logging on through a mobile IM application (such as DingTalk) does not count toward the logon quota. However, logging on through a mobile browser does count toward the quota.

    2. The same account can log on simultaneously on 3 different browsers on a PC.

      Note

The number of windows in the same browser is not limited. However, incognito mode will count as one logon quota.

  • Before the logon window limit is reached (logon windows < 3), you can log on to a new window normally. If you have already logged on to 3 windows, when the 4th device/window attempts to log on, the following rules and procedures apply.

    1. If you have selected Log out of the earliest window by default for the excess logon rule, you do not need to manually select a window to log out. The system will automatically log out of the window with the earliest logon time.

    2. If you have selected Manually select a window to log out for the excess logon rule, the 4th person needs to actively select which device window to log out. After confirming the selection, the 4th person successfully logs on.
