Quick BI:Conversations with agents

Quick BI integrates with Intelligent Q's enterprise-level data agent model, which lets you have conversations with an agent. This topic describes how to use an agent.

Important

Currently, this feature is available only for the China (Hong Kong) and Malaysia sites. Support for other sites is being rolled out.

Limits

  • My Agents is a value-added module. To use this feature, you must first purchase the Q-Query module.

  • Only Premium Edition and Professional Edition support agents. The Personal Edition does not support agents.

  • Embedding and mobile scenarios are not supported.

Prerequisites

  • You have configured an agent and have the required permissions for it. For more information, see Agent Management.

  • You have the required permissions for Q-Query. For more information, see Organization roles.

Access

Access an agent from the navigation pane on the left

On the Intelligent Q homepage, in the navigation pane on the left, click Custom Applications and select the agent that you want to use.

You can also pin an agent to the navigation bar and then select it directly from the navigation pane on the left.

To pin or unpin an agent from the navigation bar:

  • Hover over the target agent and click the image icon to pin it to the navigation bar.image

  • If you no longer need to see the agent in the navigation pane on the left, click Unpin from navigation bar.image

Agent introduction

After you open an agent, you can view its introduction.

Click the image icon in the upper-right corner to close the agent introduction.

Questions and answers

After you select an agent as described in Access, you can ask questions in the agent dialog box. You can ask questions by clicking example questions, entering questions directly, using quick questions, or using speech input.

  • Directly enter questions

    For example, enter "I am the product manager of Product A. Help me analyze the high-risk customers of the product from February 1 to February 5", click the image icon in the lower right corner of the dialog box or press Enter to obtain the analysis results.

    You can click the image icon in the lower right corner to stop the response while the results are being returned.

  • Click example questions to ask

  • Quick questions

    Click the image icon in the lower-left corner of the question box to open the quick questions interface. Then, click a question under Recommended questions or Recent questions.

  • Speech input

    • Click the Speech input icon to enter the voice conversation interface.

    • The system will detect your speech and convert it to text.

      You can click the image icon on the left to cancel input , or click the image icon on the right to switch to text input.

    • Click Send or press Enter, and the system will return the conversation result.

Conversation list

  • Click the image icon in the upper-left corner to view your agent conversation history.

  • Click the image icon to start a new agent conversation.
