Quick BI allows you to grant permissions by user. In this case, you can grant users or user groups the permissions on resources. You can view the permissions that are granted to a specified user group in your enterprise and grant permissions to one or more user groups in a centralized manner. This topic describes how permission administrators grant user groups the permissions on resources.
Resource permissions
Permission administrators can grant user groups the following permissions on resources:
You can be granted the Export (Including View) and View permissions on reports, such as BI portal, dashboards, worksheets, ad hoc analysis, and self-service data retrieval.
Allows you to manage all data, manage your own data, and submit data.
Export (Including View): If a user is granted the Export (Including View) permission on a specified report, the user can view and export the result of the report.
View: If a user is granted the View permission on a specified report, the user can only view the result of the report.
Data management: If you have the Manage All Data permission, you can manage and submit data.
Submit Data: If a user is granted the Submit Data permission on a specified form, the user can only submit data in the form.
