Last Updated:Mar 28, 2026

PolarDB-X 1.0 notifies you of pending events by email, console message, or SMS. This topic describes how to view and handle pending events in the console.

Event types

PolarDB-X 1.0 has two types of pending events:

Event typeDescriptionHow to handle
Operations and maintenance (O&M) eventsSystem-initiated operations such as network setting modifications.Schedule an operation time. The O&M system runs the operation automatically at the scheduled time.
Notification eventsEvents such as version upgrades that require your action.Handle the event manually after you receive the notification.

View and handle pending events

  1. Log on to the PolarDB for Xscale console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Pending Events.

Note If the Pending Events page lists no events, there are no pending O&M events for your instances.
  3. On the Pending Events page, click the tab for the event type you want to view, then select the region where your instances are deployed. The instances section shows the details of pending events.

Handle an O&M event

If you do not specify an operation time, the system runs the O&M operation at the default time. To set a custom operation time:

  1. On the Pending Events page, select the instance.

  2. Click Custom Operation Time. In the dialog box that appears, specify the operation time.1

  3. Click Confirm.

Handle a notification event

Notification events require manual action. After handling the event, log on to the console and confirm that the event no longer appears on the Pending Events page.

View handled events

In the left-side navigation pane, click Historical Events to view events that have already been handled.
