PolarDB:Pending events

Last Updated:Jun 20, 2026

PolarDB-X provides a Pending Events service. When an event requires action, the system notifies you by email, SMS, and through the console so you can handle it promptly. This topic describes how to view and manage these events in the console.

Background

Pending events in PolarDB-X include the following:

  • O&M event: Reminders for maintenance tasks, such as network changes. You can set a custom operation time, and the system automatically performs the task at your scheduled time.
  • notification event: Alerts for events such as version upgrades. After receiving a notification event, you must handle it.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the PolarDB-X 1.0 console.

  2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Pending Events.
Note If the Pending Events page is empty, you have no pending O&M events.
  3. On the Pending Events page, click the tab for the event type and select the region of your instance. You can view the details of pending events in the instance list.
    • For an O&M event, if you do not specify a custom operation time, the system automatically performs the operation within a default time window.
To change the operation time, follow these steps:
      1. Select the target instance.
      2. Click Custom Operation Time. In the Scheduled Switch Time dialog box, set a Scheduled Date and Scheduled Time, and then click Confirm.
      3. Click Confirm.
    • You must handle notification events manually. After handling an event, mark it as resolved in the console. The event is then removed from the Pending Events list.
Note The Historical Events page shows completed events.
