    PolarDB:Release an instance

    Release a pay-as-you-go PolarDB for Xscale instance that you no longer need.

    Warning

    Releasing an instance permanently removes it. This action cannot be undone.

    Prerequisites

    Before you begin, ensure that:

    • The instance uses the pay-as-you-go billing method. Only pay-as-you-go instances can be released.

    • All databases on the instance are deleted.

      Warning

      Deleting a database permanently removes all data in that database. This action is irreversible.

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the PolarDB for Xscale console.

    2. In the top navigation bar, select the region of the instance.

    3. On the Instances page, click the PolarDB-X 2.0 tab.

    4. Find the instance. In the Actions column, click the More icon and then click Release.

    5. In the confirmation dialog box, click OK.

    Result

    The instance is removed from the instance list.
