When an Alibaba Cloud account has overdue payments, all pay-as-you-go PolarDB-X instances under that account become overdue. Subscription instances with auto-renewal enabled are not affected until the next subscription period starts.
Warning
Alibaba Cloud sends notifications before your instance becomes overdue. To avoid business interruptions, add funds to your account as soon as possible.
Pay-as-you-go instances
After your account becomes overdue, pay-as-you-go instances remain available for 15 days, are locked for the next 15 days, and are permanently released on day 31.

After a PolarDB-X instance is released, cross-region backup data is retained for the retention period you specified. If a new instance meets the conditions for cross-region recovery, you can restore the data to the new instance during that period.
Subscription instances
Subscription instances with auto-renewal enabled are not affected by account overdue payments until the next subscription period starts.
