    PolarDB:Configure alert rules

    This topic describes how to configure alert rules for monitoring metrics of computing resources, storage resources, and log resources.

    Background information

    PolarDB-X integrates with CloudMonitor to provide alert configuration features.

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the PolarDB-X console, click the target instance ID, and choose Monitoring and Alerting > Compute Monitoring in the left navigation pane.

      Note

      For Standard Edition instances, click Storage Resource Monitoring.

      For Enterprise Edition instances, click one of the following: Compute Monitoring, Storage Resource Monitoring, or Log Monitoring.

    2. Click Set Alert Rules to go to CloudMonitor to create alert rules.

      Note

      When you create alert rules for computing resources, an instance-level configuration item represents the average value of all nodes, and a node-level configuration item represents the value of a specified node.
