Use the PolarDB console to view and modify runtime parameters for your cluster. Check the Force Restart column before submitting changes to avoid unexpected downtime.
The parameters listed in the PolarDB console are the authoritative source for which parameters can be modified on your cluster.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:

A PolarDB cluster

Access to the PolarDB console
Modify cluster parameters

Log on to the PolarDB console.

In the upper-left corner, select the region where your cluster is deployed.

Find the cluster and click its ID.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose Settings and Management > Parameters.

In the upper-left corner of the page that appears, click Modify Parameters.

Find the parameter you want to change and enter a new value within the range shown in the Range to Be Modified column. To read the description of a parameter, hover over the
icon next to its name.NoteValues outside the allowed range cause an error when you click Submit Changes.

Click Submit Changes, then click OK in the Save Changes dialog.
WarningIf the Force Restart column shows Yes for any modified parameter, the cluster restarts after you click OK. Schedule your operation before you modify the parameter. Proceed with caution.
View parameter modification history

Log on to the PolarDB console.

In the upper-left corner, select the region where your cluster is deployed.

Find the cluster and click its ID.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose Settings and Management > Parameters.

In the upper-left corner of the page that appears, click Parameter Modification History.

Select a time range and click OK.
