Switch your PolarDB cluster's compute billing from subscription to pay-as-you-go. The new billing method takes effect after you complete payment. Switching the billing method does not affect cluster availability or your running workloads.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that:

The cluster is in the Running state

The cluster has no temporary upgrade task in progress and no scheduled configuration change tasks

Your account balance is sufficient to prevent service downtime due to overdue payments after the switch
Limitations
You cannot switch the compute billing method to pay-as-you-go if the cluster uses both subscription compute and subscription storage billing methods.
Refunds
After the switch, the remaining subscription balance is refunded to your original payment account. Only the actual paid amount is refunded to the original payment channel. Vouchers and coupons are not refunded.
Switch the billing method

Log on to the PolarDB console.

In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters.

In the upper-left corner, select the region where your cluster is deployed.

Find your cluster, then choose More > Switch to Pay-as-you-go in the Actions column.

In the Switch to Pay-as-you-go dialog box, click Switch to Pay-as-you-go.

On the Switch to Pay-as-you-go page, confirm the cluster information, select the terms of service, and click Buy Now.
NoteIf the order remains unpaid or the payment fails, it appears as an unpaid order on the Order Management page. You cannot purchase a new cluster or switch the billing method until you complete or cancel the order.
