PolarDB:Billing rules for backup storage exceeding the free quota

PolarDB Standard Edition includes a free quota for backup storage. When your backup usage exceeds this quota, charges apply based on the amount of storage consumed and how long it is retained.

Free quota

Each cluster gets a free quota for both data backup and log backup. Charges only apply to usage beyond these thresholds.

Rates vary by region. The hourly price applies to the total backup size that exceeds your free quota.

Hourly charge = Billable backup size × Hourly price

For example, if the total backup size is 1,000 GB, the hourly fee is USD 0.032. Calculation: 1,000 GB × USD 0.000032/GB/hour = USD 0.032.USD 0.000032
